Bridal Showcase 2009A first of its kind in Penang, 2009 Bridal Showcase – A Shanghai Love Story, will be held at the Moral Uplifting Society, on Sat, 19th and Sun, 20th Dec 2009, from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm in conjunction with the Annual Charity Food Fair organized by the Society. Our showcase will also raise some funds to be contributed towards the Charity Fund.The showcase is to promote Penang as a destination wedding location, with capabilities to host theme weddings parties leveraging on Penang World Heritage status and our richness and diversity of the cultures of the people of Penang. Thus the theme of A Shanghai Love Story.
The participants include bridal fashion houses, bridal designers, wedding cards designers, photographers and videographers, wedding favors and wine suppliers. The program for the showcase include fashion shows showcasing the latest collections from the various bridal fashion houses. The Chef Association, Penang Chapter will be also be organizing a Cocktail Mixing Competition and Dress a Wedding Cake Competition, to entertain the public. The theme for the two programs will also be “ A Shanghai Love Story”. We can expect an interesting and fun time with the participants appearing in period costume in line with the theme.
